Head down to The Grove Park, Saturday 31 May for a FREE action filled afternoon of family fun and entertainment.

Come and test your physical and mental strength or if you don't fancy a testing time, relax, watch the competitors and enjoy the atmosphere.

Bring along your family and friends to Westcroft Leisure Centre, Carshalton SM5 2TG

Register at 12 noon as a team or as an individual and compete in a series of fun challenges designed for all ages and physical abilities.

Challenges range from:

Slow bike race

Cycle obstacle course

Tube map challenge

Cycle/power generation challenge

3 minute dance challenge

Rowing machine challenge

Egg, Spoon and Sack Race

Football Juggling

Football skill/beat the goalie

Circuit training including a basketball shoot challenge

Cross the swamp

Points will be awarded for completing any individual challenge and additional points can be won by achieving tasks within the challenges, or for style (at the sole discretion of the referees).

All team members (winners or losers) will be given a prize on presentation of their score card to the adjudicating team.

The afternoon will finish with an awards ceremony at 3.30pm. Prizes to be won, include a £250 sports shop voucher for the best team, plus vouchers worth £100 and £50 for 2nd and 3rd place.

The winning team will be the one with most points overall.

There will be a stage (solar powered) and dance area for local groups and dance troupes to perform.

Food concessions will be present, offering healthy locally sourced organic or fair-trade produce.

The Sutton Active Challenge will also celebrate the recent 'file the miles' challenge. Trophie's and prizes will be awarded to the best school, group and individual who files the most miles.
