The Festival

WHAT IS THERE TO DO ON THE DAY?

This fantastic family event, which promotes sustainable transport, active lifestyles and healthy living, will have a wide range of entertaining activities including; bike stunt displays, local bands, school choirs, a city farm petting zoo and great prizes!

The school choirs and live bands will be taking place in Millennium Gardens on Sutton High Street, near Waterstones.

Cycling Activities 
  • Extreme Bike Display – A team of dare devil BMX & mountain bikers with mesmerising “don’t try this at home” demonstrations
  • Cycling School – An opportunity for people of all ages to earn the cycling proficiency certificate
  • Go Ride Obstacle Course – A chance for you to test your riding ability with this testing obstacle course
  • Designer Bikes with Brixton Art – Let Brixton Art help you personalise your bike and make it stand out from the crowd
  • Guided Bike Ride – Improve your road riding and cycling confidence with a guided bike ride from one of our experts
  • Bike Doctors – How safe is your bike? Bring it with you and get an appointment with a Bike Doctor to find out
  • Security Marking – How secure is your bike? Speak with the police about measure's you can take to prevent bike theft 
  Other Activities 
  • Kids Zone – an interactive area for young children
  • City Farm Petting Zoo – We’re bringing a bit of wildlife into Manor Park, but don’t worry there won’t be any lions!
  • Street Performers – a wide range of entertainers to make you smile and wonder in amazement
  • Fitness MOT – how fit are you? This activity will assess your fitness and give you advice on how to improve
  • Arts & Crafts – Make & do! Everyone can put their artistic skills into practice and test their creative abilities
  • Nature Trails – A great way for the whole family to explore the nature on their doorstep
  • Face painting
