EVERY CHILD MATTERS
Every Child Matters (ECM) is a government led programme to help each child in the UK reach their highest potential by supporting them in a range of positive activities both in and out of school. With a school travel plan, we can help your school meet all the ECM objectives in a number of different ways.

• Be healthy – By cycling or walking to school in groups, kids will get to flex their physical and social muscles.
• Stay Safe – Because they involve the local Council, school travel plans help attract funding to make roads and walkways safer for children.
• Enjoy and Achieve – Children who travel to school ‘actively’ are more alert, attentive and ready to learn.
• Make a Positive Contribution – By choosing greener methods of transport, children can help make a real difference to the local area, the environment and the whole community.
• Economic Wellbeing – Being able to travel independently and safely can open up a wealth of opportunities for young people.
